International Conference of Applied Business and Management (ICABM2024)

We are excited to announce the upcoming 5th edition of the International Conference of Applied Business and Management (ICABM2024), organized by the Center for Research in Business Sciences and Tourism (CICET - FCVC) in collaboration with ISAG - European Business School (ISAG-EBS). The event is scheduled to take place on the 20th and 21st of June 2024.

ICABM2024 aims to facilitate the exchange of scientific knowledge in applied business and management and encourage discussions on recent advancements in these fields.

Participation in ICABM2024 is possible both in-person and online. This Conference not only serves as a platform for scholarly discourse but also provides a unique opportunity to showcase your research, thereby contributing to the broader academic community.

Types of Submissions and Decisions

The Conference invites five types of original papers:

Full paper: Representing finished or consolidated R&D works aligned with one of the Conference themes, these papers are subject to a 10-page limit.
Short paper: Offering insights from ongoing works with pertinent preliminary results, open for discussion within a 7-page limit.
Abstract: Providing an initial overview of research objectives, methodologies, and preliminary findings, serving as a concise summary open to further discussion and development.
Submitted papers can be presented in English, Portuguese or Spanish but they must be written in English and should not have been previously published or under review elsewhere. Submissions are only accepted in word format.

All submitted papers will undergo a rigorous peer-review process with a "double-blind review" conducted by at least two members of the Organizing Committee.

Publication and Indexing

Accepted full papers, when presented at the Conference, will be included in the conference proceedings. Abstracts are not published in the Conference Proceedings, being only presented, and discussed. They will, however, be visible in the Table of Contents.

Post-Conference, the proceedings will be submitted for indexing on reputable platforms such as Google Scholar, ProQuest, EBSCO, SCOPUS, and WoS (Clarivate Analytics).

To ensure publication and presentation, at least one author of a full paper, short paper, poster paper, company paper or abstract must be fully registered by May 31st, 2024, adhering to the suggested layout and page-limit.

No more than one paper per registration will be published. An extra fee must be paid for publication of additional papers, with a maximum of one additional paper per registration. One registration permits only the participation of one author in the conference.

The authors of the best selected papers will be invited to extend them for publication in European Journal of Applied Business and Management indexed in EBSCO, CROSSREF, GOOGLE SCHOLAR, LATINDEX, DRJI, ICI JOURNALS MASTER, REDIB, MIAR. To publish in the journal, authors are required to make substantial modifications, incorporating a minimum of 50% change, inclusive of a title and abstract revision. Adherence to all journal guidelines and procedures is imperative, and it is important to note that publication is not guaranteed.

Note: Additionally, the conference is under consideration for publication in Springer. If accepted, full and short papers will be published in Springer's Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems series and the necessary guidelines and templates will be sent to the authors.
